IDATALINK – PLUG AND PLAY T-HARNESS FOR NEWER VW AND SOME AUDI VEHICLES
VW1 for Maestro RR with iDatalink-compatible radio
The ADS-HRN-RR-VW1 is a plug and play installation harness for select Volkswagen and Audi vehicles that greatly simplifies the installation of the Maestro RR module. iDatalink’s ADS-HRN-RR-VW1 wiring adapter allows you to connect a new car stereo in select 2009-up Volkswagen vehicles, working in conjunction with iDatalink’s Maestro ADS-MRR module. Once connected, you’ll retain the use of your steering wheel audio controls, navigation outputs, and amplifier turn-on in these vehicles. You’ll also gain the ability to assign secondary functions to your steering wheel audio controls. The package includes connectors that plug in between the Maestro module, your Volkswagen’s radio’s wiring plugs, and your new car stereo.

All-in-one radio replacement solution for select Volkswagen models 2009 and up:

- Retains complete Bluetooth (voice commands, phonebook & more)
- Retains complete factory amplifier functionality (gain adjustment, fading & more)
- Displays all Multifunction Display (MFD) data in the instrument cluster
- Displays distance to next turn, street name and arrow icons in MFD*
- Displays performance gauges, vehicle info, visual parking assist, climate status screens and enables read/reset of ‘check engine’ codes**
The ‘VW1’ installation harness (ADS-HRN-RR-VW1) provides ‘plug & play’ connections to the vehicle and radio including vehicle speed pulse, parking and foot brake and reverse light wires required to connect navigation receiver – without cutting any vehicle wires.
